Former (ex) korea boy group SS501′s member Park Jung Min , hopes to convert “sexy charisma” into power that can warm one’s heart, become the most cuddleable person.
*warm hearted, humourous, giving good impression
Park Jung Min came to singapore to promote his first solo mini album “Not Alone” 2 weeks before. During the press conference, he was all smiles, also uses his limited chinese and english words to anwser and joke, causing all the media reporters and fans at the conference to laugh profusely.
The most funny of all, is when he asked every reporter’s name when being questioned “who are u” , and calling them “little xxx” Although it makes you want to have goosebumps, but it acted effectively as an ice breaker, successfully closing the gaps between people.
Besides, one of the reporters asked what’s the most “woo-hoo” moment he had ever since debut, he was like a child who just got a new toy, happily repeating the words “woo-hoo”, causing everyone to burst out laughing.
*Chinese pronounciation is the hardest to master
(note the sentence used here) SS501 debuted for over 5 years, has officially disbanded last year,
members going solo. (excuse me author of the article, what do u mean by disbanding? did u do your homework before writing this article?) Of all, Park Jung Min is the first to release solo album. As compared to group activities in the past, is it more pressurising to be alone? He said laughingly that he is very adaptable, the korea media exaggerated by reported that he was unable to fall asleep and lost 12KG because of this, “they have exaggereate”. “i just measured my weight today, and it is only lesser by 10 KG, haha! As schedules are very packed during promotion period, thus will definitely affect the sleeping condition.”
As for now, his goal is to change from idol singer to singer – song writer. “I hope i can show my talent in various areas, and become an all rounded celebrity.”
After going solo, Park Jung Min signed contract with korea and taiwan operated company, taiwan side was the one that produced “boys over flowers” (taiwan version) Angie Chai, will also arrange him to act in a taiwan idol drama. Because of this, he is actively learning chinese, but he expressed that the pronounciation of chinese characters give him headaches. “there are four pitches for chinese right? its very hard to remember when to use which. when others speak chinese to me, i feel as if they are scolding me, haha!”
*hope to be hugged by girls
Although there’s language barriers, Park Jung Min still trys his very best to interact with everyone. Although his not good in English, but still listened carefully to every word by reporters, repeating english words that he knows, the half knowing expression causes laughter. When enterring, he specially waved to fans seating at the back. When asked about his first impression of Singapore, he replied is chinese “hot”, then smartly added “passionate!” , making the fans very pleased and causing them to scream.
When in SS501, Park Jung Min always used “sexy charisma” to introduce himself. So now, whats the most attractive of him? He thought and said “sexy charisma is only for the look. but i hope to present a warm feeling through this album, giving girls the will to hug him.”
After his sentence, of course is another round of screams. This shows, Park Jung Min’s this hope can be fulfilled easily.
